Cash aka Andrew Cash and Fanizza aka Fausto Fanizza join forces on their Piston Recordings debut with the fantastic Loving You EP. The guys have come over from Bonzai Progressive where they’ve enjoyed a few releases, to set their sights on delivering some fine deep house grooves. Fausto has been a prominent figure in the dance music scene for many years now. He forms part of the hugely successful Starchasers from back at the turn of the millennium and since then he’s racked up a very impressive catalogue under various guises. His works have appeared on several top labels and his music is consistent with pure quality and inspiration. Italian native Andrew Cash has carved out a solid niche in the narrow gap between trance and progressive in recent years. Known for creating dreamy, uplifting melodies and steady basslines, his works have gained a great deal of support from top jocks and artists from around the world. This latest venture is an interesting once as it takes both guys on a different path. We know you’ll love it.

First up we have the fresh sounding, clubby vibes of Loving You which intros with a classic thumping kick and crispy hat combo. A deep, analogue style bass pattern takes control, making you feel every vibration from its sub-level presence. Cool, stylish vocals add that feel-good touch to the sound, delivering an upbeat groove. Spacey pads and subtle 303 style plucks add texture and depth to this hugely impressive cut that will not disappoint.

Little Love opens with a retro disco stab which leads to a nice punchy kick and shuffling percussion arrangement. The track breaks to reveal warm, ascending chords along with a lush, groovy bassline which makes for the perfect ingredients to get your butt on the floor. Stylish keys dish out a flurry of melody as cool vocals add character, resulting in a truly motivated house groove. Beautifully crafted and a must have.

Deep Contamination rounds up this classy three track EP, with more funky fresh goodness. A much deeper groove that its predecessors, the focus shifts to that deep, groovy bassline which is complimented by swirling pads and a mesmeric repeating vocal shot. Trippy arpeggios lurk in the background, coming to the fore on the break where hi-strings add that classic touch to the sound. A fine slice to keep the groove rocking.
